About MeI am a Clarke County School District employee. I will not tell you how long I have been teacher but I will say that I have been doing this for a very long time. I teach middle grades mathematics. This year my focus is on 7th grade. I am able to help with 6, 7 & 8 grade mathematics.
On a personal note, I am married and have 5 children. I am originally from E. St. Louis, Il. I served in the navy. I attended Bethune Cookman College on a music and academic scholarship. I moved to Athens by way of the military and attended UGA. While teaching at W.R. Coile Middle School, I was able to be a presenter at The Georgia Council of Teachers of Mathematics and published in a publication for The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. I have spent many years working with the youth of Athens in organizations such as Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Knights of Pythagoras. I look forward to working with you and your child to build a love for learning and continued success. |
